Start Where YOU Are

In order to make any kind of change in your life, you must first know where you currently stand to then be able to take the proper steps forward toward your goal. This can be a challenging experience for many people. It includes recognizing and ACCEPTING where you are in your life physically, mentally, and emotionally, and allowing yourself to start from a clean slate.
If experiences from your past are holding you back, you must be ready to let them go.
If you are constantly comparing yourself to other people, you need to realize that you are not them and everyone has their own unique challenges and stories. Comparing yourself to someone else will never get you closer to your goal, in fact it may stop you dead in your tracks if it leads to negative self talk and discouragement.
If you are being influenced by negative people in your life, you may need to start there and address the people that surround you.
Success can mean different things to different people. Starting where YOU are means that you can feel successful taking even the slightest step forward and making one small change in your life that gets you closer to your goals.
