It's so easy to get caught up in new trends whether it be training or nutrition related, thinking they'll get you better results, faster. So often I see people overcomplicating things trying to be "perfect". Usually this ends up leading to failure and not progress.
The truth is we don't need to be perfect to make progress!
We just need to be a little bit better every day, every workout, every meal.
One step at a time.

New fancy exercises to grow your butt or combining a bunch of crazy exercises together which ultimately ends up taking away from the quality of each and therefor the intensity and results.
The little details such as sets, reps, timing, rest, etc., while are very important in program design relative to your goals, hyper-focusing on them could end up taking away from your workout overall.
Same thing with nutrition. If you're constantly looking for the perfect diet, perfect combination of foods or calorie intake, magical quick fix programs with exact macros, you're missing out on the good stuff. We have the opportunity to make better choices every day, and when we search for the "answer" we often don't take notice of the little actions we take every day that could have a huge impact.
The basics always work. Squat, lunge, push, pull, hinge, rotate. I am all for variety and mixing things up, but any trainer will tell you the basics always build a solid foundation and they are the basics for a reason...THEY WORK! Eat real food. Listen to your body. If you're always jumping from one diet to the next, you won't know what's working for you and what's not.

Obviously if you don't know how to do the basics or don't know where to start, that is where hiring a professional comes in. Don't be afraid to ask for help.
KEEP IT SIMPLE! Have a plan, work your ass off, be consistent and the results will come.
